Planning a good demonstration doesn’t have to be that hard of an effort.
Here are a few ideas to help you along.
- Invite as many guests as you can and on the invite encourage them to bring a friend. Most cases if you invite 20 guests 10 will actually turn up.
- Make the starting time 30 mins before you want to start and remember most demonstrations last around 2 hours and that extra 30 mins gives you time to chat beforehand and give people running late the opportunity not to miss the demonstration.
- Nibblies and Drinks are a great idea for the party so you can all socialize after the demonstration is over.
- If a guest cannot make it on the day/night offer for them to come around at a convenient time and view the catalogue over a coffee they may place an order or book their own party which will add to your hostess rewards at your demonstration.
- Decide where the best place is to have your demonstration. Ask yourself - Is there enough space to seat everyone? - Is the room lit up enough? - Have you chosen a room to try items on?
- Turn off the TV and other distractions before guests arrive.
- Make available the kitchen table as this is more comfortable for guests to sit down and place their orders.
